The National Museum Jamaica and its Montego Bay counterpart, National Museum West will be hosting a series of Virtual Outreach programmes. The aim of the series is to bring the excitement of Jamaica’s history and culture into classrooms, libraries, homes or virtually anywhere that the interest is.
The series will feature six major topics including ‘The People Who Came, Maroons, Slave Systems: Character and Dismantlement, Post Emancipation Society, National Heroes and, Resistance and Revolt’. Each session will be an hour long and have a minimum participant requirement of ten (10) and a maximum of forty (40).
